    ***UP ON EBAY NOW*** :(

Custom Demolishor Transformers 2 Decepticon Autobot WOW on eBay (end time 30-Aug-09 15:00:35 BST)

My 2nd custom ever here but i'm starting to gather momentum now I think and really enjoying working with them :D

Hopefully you pro guys out there can offer any thoughts on how you think i'm getting on.

I've, stripped the transformer to pieces, it has been sanded, primed with tamiya grey primer, and airbrushed with tamiya acrylics. I detailed with hand brushes and also used dry brushing and also the help from an old tooth brush aswell as my fingers :D  For the chromy silver parts I have used a spray which I sprayed into a jar then brushed on.

I've learned much from these first two figures i've done, including the need for a finer detail brush,.. lol.

Cheers for looking,.. *oh i'm actually working on another Demolishor in a different colour scheme ;) *

I like this color scheme better then the boring "red" one.

Not that i see the reasoning behind a yellow Terex RH400 but it sure does look great!

    :D  Cheers man!

That's actually a big question I would like answering when it comes to Custom Transformers.

Do they really have to be themed to a G1 colour scheme, or some other line etc in your opinion. Or are people happy with simply a good looking non descript artistic flair?

I was gonna start a thread about that question actually :p

Personally I love to see the new stuff repainted to look like G1 stuff (or in this case, G2 yellow Scavenger). Great job!

    Looks great!
I think it may have worked more to break up the monotony by perhaps detailing some different colours on the robot parts (namely the head and perhaps the scoop?) but other than that I really like it! Has a very realistic look to it. :)
It also looks sort of...bigger/ more powerful in yellow. I can't explain it.
