Once this is done I may want to cast it up as a action figure/model kit. I posted it in the Art forum originally, but I wanted to get feedback from the folks here that have seen my work in the past. Let me know what you think!

I am sculpting him in castilene, which is what most newer action figure sculpts are done with. I was just thinking of a generic 'bot that was going to be part of the base (his raised foot is going to be resting on the torso.) I want the victim to look totally trashed, since Cyclonus is supposed to be so powerful. I also like the idea of him doing it with his bare hands.

Yes, he is supposed to be powerful and nasty!!! Not like the Armada recycling of the name. having a small sample of your work in my possession. This is very cool!!! :thumb  :thumb

    not bad!

the finishing/smoothness of teh sculpt could be better, but the design (proportion/pose) is rather good.

VERY nice work, SB! The more I see of your work, the more I'm impressed. You got some mad skillz man!

I have a suggestion: you should post a sculpting tutorial. That would totally rock man!

Amazing job man. Only improvements could think of is smoothing out some of the panel lines but that's nitpickn.
Look foward to seeing it painted and hopefully casted

If you really want impact, don't make it a generic 'bot. Make it a respected known 'bot (either an Autobot who picked the wrong fight or a Decepticon who challenged Galvatron's authority).

Anyway, as I said in the other thread, I love it. If the price is right I'll buy one in a heartbeat.

no one in particular, I didn't want to have people upset that their favorite guy got trashed. The head may give a nod to someone, but I am not spilling the beans just yet. The body is just a design that I am doing as I sculpt, have a general plan in my head, but that has changed already (the wheel in the forearm is a good example.)
