This is inspired by the one blacklion29 posted at Sector70 and TFW, however I wanted to give mine a slightly more G1 color scheme as well as a different head.

I used Model Master chrome on the arms, and orange on the main body. I then went over the body again with Orange acrylic and used metallic purple acrylic for the chest/head area. After that, some slight panel-lining and a water-slide label from F_R and voila! Scale-wise, I think it fits right in with the MP series.

I never realized how perfect this mold was for him. Very nice. Is that a classic Starscream head?

Thanks. "Technically" it's an Acid Storm head, but yes it's the Starscream mold. I sanded down the sides of it to give it more of a dome look for Huffer.

Uh, Sideswipe's cannon is over his left shoulder...........:p
That's the only rough patch I can see in those photos, that's how good Huffer looks. Fantastic colours, the head is just okay for me. Not too huge on it, but it's definitely a good try. Looking at your pic, which you used for reference I'm assuming, Huffer kinda looks like a Sentinel from X-Men.....does a deluxe size of that toy exist?! Is it too early for me that I'm seeing things....?

LOL, just kidding. I don't think they make smaller-sized Sentinels, but they may have some PVC figures with smaller heads that could work.

Thanks for the comments, all of you!

LOL I'm G1 cartoon biased....and I sadly can't find any decent pics of toon Sideswipe. How embarrassing. Ah enough of that red Lambo, Huffer kicks ass man. I just really like the colours, dare I say perfect? Boom.

Love it. I had another Huffer project on the go, but the recent versions using this mold (especially yours) have really swayed me. It looks great, and even has those high-shouldered arms like the original figure. Nice! The colours here really sold me on it.

Somehow, he seems too small to be an "MP" Huffer. I mean, it's close to the old toy scale, though I never pictured the "minibots" really actually being that much smaller than the other Autobots. As a Classics Huffer though... just right. :)
