this pic is for fun. My normal CC on left, the custom is on the right. pretty goo matches, the custom is just a nicer darker blue, but its kinda hard to tell in this pic

I kind of like him with the exposed chest, but in any event, GREAT job!

Whenever I do a commission (which is not often, since I don't seek them out), I always so SUCH a better job than I do on the crap I'm keeping for myself.

Of course because I half-ass my own projects may be the REASON I get so few comissions, my actuall skills rarely show through :lol

All of which is by way of saying, I feel your pain in letting him go!

the DIA mold is actually pretty good for a KO. i actually got the KO City Commander for myself, and it is worse than the DIA. The leg molds are the same, but i found that the entire chest area is looser on the CC, as well as are the shoulders. then you have the forarms which on the DIA have a nice little clip to help hold them on, on the CC there wasnt. overall id say they are worth the $60-80 you pay for them tho. the issues are not major and easily fixable.

i dont know why the mods would be different unless i just got screwed on the one i bought, but i bought it from a reliable source so i dont know lol.

as far as this figure goes...i appreciate the comments so far :)

ya now they are $40, but shipping is also $35, not $15 like it use to be. and iver heard too many bad things about that site/guy, i would never buy from there. and the $60-80 wasnt meant just for a DIA, it was for a KO Commander in General. after shipping, most DIAs are gonna run you at least $60, where CC can go from $80 and well up from what ive seen... but its good to see thats what stood out for ya out of the whole thread :D

i ordered a few things from here, they all came packed well and shipping was fast too for being overseas. took like 9 days i think from the day i ordered it.

    chimungmung Toy Shop

THANKS! i like the custom better as well... i kinda wish i wouldnt have got the KO CC and woulda got the DIA for myself and done it this way :D

i do plan on doing a Shadow Commander next, so hopefully it comes out as nice as this one did

i also got the KO CC from Chimungmung.com. they actually raised the price on it since i got it tho...think its like $10-15 more than what i paid for it

Very very cool. I do like yours better. And thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to getting mine and you made me feel a bit better about the quality concerns I had. Cheers!
