Minor/Repaint: Custom Blackout

    Here's my Blackout custom. I repainted him Gunship Grey and then did a heavy blackwash on him to make him look really worn and dirty. I also repainted the robot mode parts in flat black and drybushed some silver on it to make it look more movie accurate. Hope ya'll enjoy.

    BTW, Blackout sold last week on Ebay. I'm currently working on a Starscream custom and trying to make his vehicle mode more like an actual F22 paint color instead of tan, which they are not. Keep your eyes peeled!

    It's acrylic. Citadel's Mithril Silver was what I used to drybrush it.

    HAHAH. You so are!! But hey, gotta love those enamels on the right surface. I went to base a silver surfer for FF RISE.. haha, melted that mother.

    why? they work better on the plastic these and most other toys are made of. Enamels don't dry, they turn sticky unless clearcoated properly.

    I just trust enamels for longer life on plastics. they were engineered for it. any professional company uses enamels, even car companies. yes, it's all about the finish. mine dry not sticky at all. testors doesn't mess around.

    in a day or 2 I'll be able to show what enamel can do
