no, most of that is unnecessary, you take grabs of every frame then put them in sequence in the animation window in photoshop, then save as a gif

How do you get the material off the DVDs onto your computer for screen cap taking?

 

It's a terribly long process.
First you reach for the DVD case. Then you pick it up. I know I know, this sounds risky but it'll work, you actually have to open the case. Now if you get lost, that's ok because it took me hours to master. You then actually remove the DVD From your case, you will think you broke it for a moment but those clever sons of bitches designed it to detach. Then you press the button to open the DVD-Rom drive on your pc if it has one. If not, buy one first. You actually put the DVD in there. And then it will, and don't get a heart attack-- it will READ it!
