    Hey all!
Here are the heads I plan to cast so far. Cliffjumper, Sideswipe, Ironhide, and Soundwave. I am going to sculpt a fifth, and have a G1 accurate Sideswipe rifle in the set as well. Still can't post pics in the kitbash forum so here they sit.
Quick poll:Who should the fifth head be?
    Hook (for Mudflap conversion)
Arcee (for any you see fit)
    Hot Rod (ditto above)
    Kup (Prime Ram conversion)
    Mirage (cartoon/toy faithful version)
Bumblebee (for any you see fit)
let me know what you guys want, I plan to have them molded and casted soon. With an initial cast run of 50 sets.

I'd like a Bumblebee head. I can think of a few different source vehicles from the Alternators line for him.

There pretty good, but you should post these in the Kitbash forum.

We have a sticky here that gives you instructions for free hosting of pics.

Sounds like Bumblebee is a favorite. I forgot to put Huffer in there for a Rollbar conversion, but he can come later. The next set will be Movie related (Hot Rod, Arcee, and Kup for sure...then maybe Springer, or some more Dinobots to go with Grimmie!) The next set will be all 5 Stunticons with faithful headsculpts. Any other ideas after that are welcome.

Excellent job on the head scults. IIRC you mentioned creating molds for these and selling them right?

He was one I was going to try to slip into the movie set. there are definitely a lot of great ideas to bring to this, and if you guys want them, and pick them up, I can keep bringing them to fruition. And to answer the other question, yes I plan to have these cast in white resin with a run of about 50 castings. The great thing with the moldmaker/caster I chose is he will keep the mold and cast as many more as I need. So if you guys continue to want them in the future, we can always make more. With every new Alternator, Hasbro puts out there are new possibilities.... :thumbs2:

What are you going to use for the mold? (material wise that is) I've found that Silicon is one of the best for quality but is expensive for such a small number of planed pulls.

I am not molding them myself, my studio is far too small for that. I am going through a place called Alchemy Works. They are responsible for a lot of the independent resin models that are out on the market. Mike Evans is the guy who runs it, and he has more than 20 years of experience with resin and other mediums (bronze Alternator heads, anyone?). His moldings are usually flawless, and require little to no preparation before painting (no moldlines, or bubbles.) I know silicone is one of the molding materials he uses, but I am not sure what he will use for these.

Sculpt-Bot, Can you do a cartoon accurate G1 bumblebee head?!! (pretty please with like energon on top??) I know they made one with the re-issue minibots but I can't afford that set, and I can't justify the price just to get the bumblebee. If you could help out, that would be great, I'd easily pay $8-$10 for one... thanks =)

Sorry, no plans just yet for anything under Mega/Alt sizes. The cost is pretty restrictive to have these things molded, and right now the Alts are hot and can be easily converted to other characters, so there is more of a demand for nice new melons for said characters.

How about either a show-accurate Trailbreaker for Prime Ram or a show-accurate Swindle so that Alt. Swindle's head could be used for a Ram Trailbreaker and then Swindle could actually look like Swindle. Did that make sense?

yeah, a Swindle head or Punch/Counterpunch's heads would rock as well. Maybe a ratchet head.

Andy, I have been drawing ideas for a Punch/Counterpunch head since your first suggestion. I think it is a great idea, just trying to work out the design of the sculpt so it wouldn't require that "hinge" mechanism that the original had, and could just be a one piece casting...love the idea. I had originally planned the Blue Prowl to be converted to Soundwave, and have been fiddling with the engine weapon to get it to transform into Buzzsaw/Laserbeak. The Swindle head is a good idea too, I am doing the Stunticons as a set of five first though (already started working on them!)
Ratchet is already in the prelim sculpt phase as well. :thumbs2:
