After I saw Ben Procter's awesome Transformer pictures I decided to make a "life size" version of Frenzy. When I say life size though he actually will be bigger than Frenzy really is but I like that better.

For the structure of the design I am using cardboard and duct tape and then I will be using aluminum flashing and other materials for the finish of him. As of right now my digital camera is not working so I don't have pics of what I have so far but when I get it working i'll be sure to post them for you all to see :)

it's a 3-D artwork of Frenzy, not a custom figure or anything like that. 3-D artwork would go under the FanArt section IMO

I was going to suggest you take the regular approach, without the ductape, and the use of gorrila glue, modelling puddy and maybe even J.B. Weld. All of these use to create it, then spray paint and variate his color scheme....but hey thats just me, your doing a good job regardless, keep it up :thumb

yeah i've used those on other projects of mine (which has been many lol) and I love using duct tape on projects. I'm just used to it and like working with it

I'm going to be making small sculptures of some of the transformers as well after this project is done :)

here's some more work done. I decided that i'm going to cover all of it and then i'm going to hand paint it with acrylic paints. I'm very handy with acrylics and I can get the detail that I need as well. Also I know it looks a little bumpy that's alright because i'm going to do some light sanding and cut away with an knife before I start painting it. Once it hardens it will solidify the pieces all together as well.

After I cover the whole head i'll sand down the edges and make them smooth before I paint it. I've been working on other projects lately but i'll get back to this soon
