Gotta say I'd be more than happy if they didn't do anything at all to this guy outside of just improving the QC, personally. :)

Oh, and remoulding Pipes, obvs.

Same here, though I think I'd be OK with keeping Stax as my Pipes...unless Badcube knocked it out of the park.

Just don't do it too much or you'll go blind.

I'm holding onto the original, if only for historical purposes! :)

Mine was one of the few that didn't have flaking paint.........until yesterday. I went to repose it and the paint stayed on my thumb instead of the thigh.

I'm pretty much convinced that unless you took some sort of precaution to avoid this (like coating it in Future and reapplying every so often...and praying that'll be sufficient) this will inevitably happen sooner or later. It's just a matter of when and how bad...

Ditto. I wish I could. It's not even really the paint that scares me off since I'm pretty good with a brush. It's just those thin panels up top always scare me into thinking I'm gonna break him. it's not Ollie bad, but I do think about it. I would love a remake of this guy in the new Badcube style, but I'm not sure how you could design around that part.

I would ask ER if he handles his figure? There's certainly no good reason to cause an issue if your figure is more or less a statue...and still a pretty one at that, but I suspect a few fingers on those painted parts and you'd quite possibly come to find what the majority have already found. Many got that surprise without handling the figure. Mine's pretty much been a statue, and last I looked, most of the paint was holding up, but one of the legs had started to flake a bit. Haven't inspected it in a couple months, though, tbh...so I don't actually know how well it's holding up currently.

On FB Badcube said yes and yes to pipes, but not exactly when just sometime this year.
