Anybody else see/get these yet? I found them at Target near the G.I. Joes. For the uninformed, they're 3.75" scale, $8 a pop, and the first wave consists of Nomad (first game Nanosuit), Alcatraz (second game Nanosuit), Alien Grunt, Alien Heavy, Alien Stalker, and some kind of generic trooper guy.

They're by Unimax, the same people that do those Bravo Force (I think that's what they're called) toys that everyone thinks are just cheap G.I. Joes but are actually of the same quality, just based on real soldiers.

Bought Alcatraz and the Heavy. They're both very detailed, and the sculpting and paint on Alcatraz is fantastic. He comes with a bunch of guns too, and to my surprise, they're hard plastic. I'd recommend grabbing these if you dig the Crysis designs or are a fan of the game. I hope more stuff comes out.

Edit: Some photos: On mah flickr

I know nothing of the game, but a couple of these looked cool & I've been on the fence about buying them for a few weeks now. Didn't realize Unimax made them, I LOVED the diecast planes they released through Target a couple years ago. How solid/sturdy are these? They honestly looked kinda flimsy to me through the package, but wooooooo weapons!

I thought they looked pretty flimsy too, but these guys are SOLID in hand.

Can the legs move to the side? I've seen these 2, but have not played the games. Are the games cool? I might pick up a Cell Trooper.

Alactraz has sideways hip movement, up to about 40 degrees or so. His articulation limits seem pretty accurate to a guy in an armored muscle suit. :lol

Maximum Armor!.. The Crysis 2 toy thread

I'm personally looking very much forward to Crysis 2 :)
As you may know, Neca have just released a Nanosuit 2.0 figure, but today I came across a brand new toyline:
Crysis 2 Toys, Action Figures, and Collectibles
I assume that Unimax Toys Ltd. is a new company? I have never heard of them in any way.

The line up consists of 4-5 inch action figures in the scale of 1:18 compared to the ingame models.

Am I the only one who finds this line interesting?

I picked up the Nanosuit 2.0 and the Grunt from the Unimax line. The Nanosuit 2.0's hip joints are a little loose, and the Grunt's back tentacle things are a bitch to attach. Other than that, they're pretty cool.

Well I can live with a few design or qc issues :)

Could you post some pictures of your figures?

Just picked up the big ass Nanosuit 2 figure from my local TRU. Haven't opened it up yet, but it looks absolutely awesome. Will be taking some pictures with my new camera later.

That's the one I want. NECA always makes awesome figures based off of video games, and this one looks to continue that trend.

Just opened him up. Kinda disappointing. Dunno if I just had bad luck, but some of his joints are a little on the loose side. Not so much that he can't stand up or flops around uncontrollably, but they could be tighter.

Aside from that, it's amazing. The sculpt, detail, and paint job are all great.

I hate loose joints. My enthusiasm died a little.

I'd love some of the smaller figures, but I have no idea if the toyline is going to be released in the uk. :(  The NECA one we'll get, but I prefer smaller toys. I'll keep my eyes open for an import store that won't charge the earth in shipping. :'(
