Blame it on poor packaging skills or cheap shipping method, we've all received at some point toys where the packaging got damaged in transit. Case in point, I received what was supposed to be a pristine, crisp New Year's edition G1 Convoy (the one with blue windows and Matrix), only to find that the beautiful box was kinked in transit. If the kink was at the back of the box, it wouldn't be too bad, but this is smack in front, above the window I've flattened the box and put it under a couple of really heavy books in an effort to lessen the damage done. I realize that once the fiber of a carboard box is broken, there's not much to do. Other than putting books on it, is there any other method I could try? How about ironing the box? I'm scared this could damage the box even more, but I'm willing to try anything to lessen the damage to the box!
