These characters are in my youtube account movie continuity.

    Squawkbox bio:
After his defeat at the hands of Optimus, Soundwave was incapacitated from participating in the Crossuniverse wars caused by the revival of the Herald of Unicron known as the Tainted. Seeing an opening to the crossuniverse in his secret lair, he had two of his servants, Squawktalk and Beastbox to go into the war for him. Arriving, the duo caused trouble amongst themselves while trying to avoid Classics Blaster. The duo then discovered that with Squawktalk's brains and Beastbox's brawn, the duo could form Squawkbox, a powerful music based Decepticon. When they were inducted into the Tainted's army, they joined the Predacon ranks, believing that they could perform recon missions on their own, their previous mistakes caused them to be assigned a partner.

    Nightbird bio:
A mute ninja Decepticon, she has the ability to speak in a telepathic manner. Although she is in the Tainted's army, she is in fact a lone mercenary. With that in mind, Squawkbox is a bit intimidated by his partner. Although cold and merciless, she seems to have an affinity towards Bumblebee (insert the Birds and the Bees joke here). She even seems to switch sides if Bumblebee is involved. The Tainted however, doesn't seem to mind, as she always manages to steal whatever his army needs

    Both were handpainted with acrylics.

Also, i'm also looking for ideas on customizing various figures, yes, i'm taking commissions. However, whatever your ideas are, they must pertain to current figures i have. Here is a list:
    Cybertron Brushguard
    Movie Hardtop w/o gun
Kamen Rider hibiki lion knock-off disk animal
    Activators Ratchet and Bumblebee
    Movie Fracture
    Universe 2.0 Dinobot

    PM on your decision

Why does Nightbird look pregnant in the pic? Is it mis-transformed? I think it'd look a lot better if you used some form of accent color, greys or silvers. I know she wasn't solid black, and so she looks like a prototype or an unfinished project.

She actually has some purple and she has yellow eyes. In the pic, i moved her head back a bit:eek: , and she actually has a metallic color scheme to her. would you like me to take some more pictures?

I know that craft paints aren't what i should be using, but they work for me 80% of the time

Craft paints really aren't as bad as people make them out to be. I've used them on my more recent customs (Cy-Kill and Jazz). I generally prefer Testors/Tamiya, but I'm not above using craft paints either. Folkart and Ceramcoat have worked pretty well for me thus far. In fact, a few of the other Radicons have used them as well.

It's still a good idea to invest in some Testors/Tamiya/Citadel/etc. We're just saying that craft paints aren't all that bad and can be utilized. But I think this particular case has more to do with skill than the paint you're using.

    Ebay:
I dont mind craft paints, but for around the same price, some testors from michaels will give a much better result. This discussion aside, Im surprised no one has commented on your painting skills, I can defintly see improvement! While its not perfect, I can tell you spent more time and put more effort in. Keep on this path and you'll be wowing people soon enough!
