I saw that at TF@TM yesterday; apparently it's a knockoff. A pretty awesome one, though.
Anti-Hate Plague Convoy?
Thats my kind of knockoff
That's what I thought when I first saw it.
According to TF@TM, there are quite a few of these. If I see one for a lower price, I might try and get one.
Same. That's nice.
Looks just like a normal Prime that has been stripped, chromed, and rebuilt - don't see why it necessarily has to be KO? If you know a good chromer/vacuum metalizer, it's not the hardest thing in the world to have done, just a bit pricey, I've had it done locally on car parts in the past. Yes it does look good! Hope there are plenty so I can pick one up too
very very nice!
long as he doesnt try and make them like the luckydraws.
goes to find classics prime and a copy of the yellow pages
So, just how much does it cost to do it ?
Looks much better than those stupid gold LD figures. Silver is sexier.
Damn good for a KO. Shiny....
It's not a KO, it's a regular Classics Prime custom chrome-plated.
And if we look at it like a "custom" is it worth the $700 price tag? I've seen a lot of customs go that high or even higher if they're really good.
Eh, KO as in not a Lucky Draw.
its a custom yes, and well worth the price. I've seen really crappy customs go for this much, this thing looks amazing!!
Looks really cool
I have only had car engine parts done myself, being large single pieces I don't think they compare, but the total chrome coverage would've exceeded that on the figure and cost me >£50. However that was much simpler surface, and whether that affects things IDK.
Check this 10-second google link - goldrush plating
I think you'd be looking at maybe £200-250? Leaves a nice profit margin huh?
EDIT bugger it I'm emailing them :O
