Finally got my Prime and Megatron yesterday, so I figured I'd put all my classics and related TF's together for a nice group shot:

5th row: Scorponok, Galvatron, Omega Supreme & Powermaster Optimus Prime
4th row: Shockwave, Soundwave, Megatron, Optimus Prime, & Ultra Magnus
3rd row: Astrotrain, Skywarp, Starscream, Thundercracker, Ironhide, Prowl, & Skids
2nd row: Grimlock, Swoop, Runabout, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Hot Rod, & Blurr
1st row: Sideswipe (alt mode), Sunstreaker (alt mode), Skids (alt mode), Grapple (alt mode), Inferno (alt mode), Wheeljack (alt mode), Hot Rod (alt mode), Blurr (alt mode), & Arcee (alt mode)

Nice setup. Using all of the homages from other lines as part of "Classics". I think Cybertron Blurr fits better with the Classics figs than the Cybertron figs. The aesthetics just don't match.

Yeah, I think Blurr works really nicely beside Hot Rod, hopefully a Kup homage won't be too far off...

For me the RID Sideswipe & Sunstreaker really don't work well with the Classics' aesthetics which is why I kept them in vehicle modes. Generally, the Energon figures work well IMO. Cybertron Soundwave is not a good match but after they announced that there will be no new Classics Soundwave mold, I had to improvise.

Is it just me or does Energon Galvatron look like the perfect "upgrade" for Classics Megatron aesthetic wise

I totally agree with the above. It seems more believable to imagine this Megatron morphing into a stronger and bigger Energon Galvatron, in direct contrast to the G1 versions IMO.

I would also say that Cybertron Prime also looks like a powered-up version of Classics Prime with similar aesthetics too...

Looks exactly how my Classics display will look when I get done reorganizing.
