For everyone else, it's a friend's site. It grew out of Muggn, which grew out of a thread on his neighborhood-based website/forum.

I'm pimping it here because he's a new father who was laid off shortly before the birth of his first child, and web ventures like this are a way for him to put food on the table (like, say, spam...see what I did there?) while he searches for something new in his field.

So hey, I hope some of y'all enjoy it here and give it some traffic, and if you like it enough, maybe you can pimp it on your FB or MySpace or blog or even, perish the thought, your Twitter.

Or you can just post useless lock emoticons. You know, either-or.

It's a PG-13 website. These are MUG SHOTS. Not pin-ups or even cheesecake. Nothing inappropriate for any age, much less the 13-and-over crowd, which you must belong to, right?

And yes, I know children go to this website. I see them posting things like   all the time.

 

What does that have to do with it?

yeah they are all great looking. i am just gotta get past some of them actually posed for their mugshots as if it was gonna make them famous.

 

PG-13? I wouldn't even go that high. It's PG, tops. But OH NOEZ TEH CHILDRENS.  

Anywho, checked it out, largely because of the background story. Gotta say that most of the ones on the "hottest" page seem awfully happy for people getting mugshots taken.

 

I like the girls who smile in the mug shots. Like it's funny to get arrested.

 

You can rate 'em also and change that!  

And check the "Hottest" link in the top right corner.

 

I feel like it makes them look guilty, since who would smile if they were falsely arrested?

And since guilty is hot, I like it.

I would encourage him to add that, 'cause I'd love to see it also, but I'm not sure that public access to booking photos always allows that.

It would definitely add flavor.

Also, www.Muggn.com allows comments, which can also be rated (I think?), so it results in some comedy gold. But this is more of a Hot or Not kinda thing, so I think the comments won't be added here.

The skeptic within tells me that some of these shots on that site might just be from passport photos. I mean, really, not that hot girls can't get arrested but some of them honestly you'd have to wonder how someone like that gets arrested.

Drugs? DUI? I just don't know...
