You might be thinking of the record for the longest period of time that a single album has remained at #1. I believe Creed's Weathered is tied (with a few other Beatles albums) for second place behind The White Album.

While I would like to be completely apathetic to this "news", it fills me with absoloute rage.

 

I like Creed and Nickleback so this is good news to me. I knew it would happen sooner or later. Alterbridge is a good band but Creed had multi-platinum success so it was a given.

 

Well, I'm happy for you that a band you like is getting back together. Personally though I never found much to like with their music. Even if I did. I still would have been driven crazy by how much they played their singles everywhere.

 

For those of you who don't know who Creed is,google "the worst band in the world". I'm not joking,last I checked it gave you a bunch of results for Creed.
IMO,they're even worse than Nickelback,because they try to be all "epic" sounding and it's just so pretentious,when all they really are is bullshit cock rock.

Creed is awesome, but just about no one knows about Alter Bridge, Mark Tremonti's spin off band. They have a heavier metal edge. Just listen to their album "Blackbird" and you'll see. Check out this video:
