Awesome review and very interesting parts swap that really makes both figures look different in a good way!

I will definitely be picking on of these up from ToyArena!

    Good job as usual. :thumb

Can you put in a good word for me with Toy Arena? I want one but for the original Pre-order price:lol . It didn't take long for retailers to mark these figures up at all.:2c:

Good review, good looking toy I do agree but the price will keep me away. If I see the Cybertron Primus anywhere for cheap I might pick that one up but that price is just crazy.

Those tan parts look terrible! not even a parts swap will make them appealing to me. I mean seriously they are supposed to be METAL spires not Spires made out of dirt.

yeah but the black from the original really help give that look i think you're talking about. The spires from the original Cybertron pictures i've seen are all black like that...so i think it looks a lot better.

there is a g1 colorscheme they could of used for him, the marvel g1 color, even though we only saw his head.....the war within red chest would of made this figure even better though

I already bought this but if I knew about the lack of metallic paint I would have cancelled it. I was already on the edge the day before it came in.

I really love the various radicons repaints of this, maybe one day I will paint my Cybertron version red.

Won an original loose complete for 27.99 + shipping on eBay a year ago so I will not be picking up another for these crazy prices. Great review, very tempted, saving the cash for MP Rodimus.

Come on Hasbro, one up Takara and release this guy in proper colors. More metallic silver, no tan parts, black hands and arm canons, and maybe red chest. Love the part swap..

Optibotimus sir... Can you hurry with those pics? Lol. Awesome review sir.

To think the original Primus was clearanced for $20 not so long ago...

I wanted to do a parts swap the minute I saw the pictures. The blue hands and guns don't fit the new Primus at all. I'll probably swap the cities and the spires from my old Primus and ditch what's left.

I vastly prefer the original to this. This is very boring and too much blue!
