Hasbro said at Botcon that Universe will be back next year with at least Deluxe molds. If you could decide what Universe 3 would be, what would you choose? I'm using the following assumptions:

- Not including repaints of toys that aren't from Classics or Classics / Universe 2.
- There will be 4 voyager or Ultra toys with 1 being a repaint. (Classics had 3 new voyager molds and no non-exclusive voyager repaints, Universe 2 had 3 new mold ultras and 1 non-exclusive ultra repaint and the 25th Anniversary part of Universe 2 had 1 new mold voyager.)
- 8 Deluxes will be made with 1 likely a remold and 1 a straight repaint. (Classics, Universe 2 and 25th Anniversary Universe 2 each had 8 deluxes, including at least 1 straight repaint and a remold. I've not included the Optimus & Megatron battlepack.)
- There will be 3 waves for each size class.

Voyager
GRAPPLE (repaint of Inferno with crane arm replacing water cannon) WAVE 1

I agree with the way you set this up. It makes more sense to include them as 2-packs with one coming out with each wave, it's totally feasible, and it keeps the line fresh and interesting.

Arcee (new mold, clear G1 Fembot robot design with minimal kibble possible, car mode)
Turbo (from Gobots) repainted from Universe Hotshot, possibly with a new head mold.
Wheeljack (new mold) I have the Alternators one currently filling this role, but as much as I love that Mustang, the figure just doesn't quite carry the role well enough for me.
Leader-1 (again, Gobots) (new mold)
Impactor (yeah, you heard me)
Brawn (Movie Payload repaint with new head mold - Saw that same thing, even bid on it, on ebay a year or two ago. Hasbro - Where you at?)
Cosmos (produced of plastic out of the canned Titanium mold. I still hate Hasbro for ending that dream then sticking us with that very crappy Legends figure)

Voyager/Ultra Class:
Sludge, Snarl, Slag & Swoop (to go along with MP Grimlock)
Springer (new Triplechanging mold) I'm tired of Triplechangers getting Deluxe figures that have decent bot modes, one good alt mode and a very sacrificed second alt mode. With a larger size, and certainly with no Earth modes in play as the case might be with Springer, it could solve such issues I think. To be honest I'm really not even into the guy, never have been, but his one big thing to me of being a Triplechanger has been shot for years now with a helicopter repaint, or a Hummer repaint, and the like. Give the guy his gimmick back.

Runabout & Runamuck, twin pack, same car mold, same face but the surrounding head design could be different (though not nessasary).
Cykill (from Gobots) This guy has been in so many TF series as a nod over the last ten years or so he deserves a decent new mold all his own.
G1 Scourge (new mold) Exclusives and Titaniums don't cut it. Galvy and Cyclonus got Universe respect, so should Scourge, easy repaint for Sweeps and total money maker for Hasbro in that respect.
Blitzwing (Yeah, don't like the deluxe size for Triplechangers as said before, but the other two are already there in that size, time to complete the trio)
Battletrap & Flywheels (Duocon love....mmmmmm)
Insecticons (could be easily repainted from the Predacons Cicadon, Ram Horn and Sea Clamp, plus would allow combination feature, call it 'Infesticus' or something)

Voyager or Ultra Class:
Thunderwing (WANT)
Straxus (DITTO!)


Oh, and any Combiner groups. Not barely movable bricks like G1, no fairly stiff and holds together half the time Energon types either. Heck, the simple simplisity of Silverbolt begs for the other Aerialbots, so would (I imagine) Onslaught (though I've never had a desire at all to buy Universe Onslaught).

There's other stuff I wouldn't mind seeing for Animated (sadly done), Movie and Crossover items (no, not Marvel or Star Wars), but that wouldn't be in the spirit of the topic so I'll keep those to myself.

And is it horrible that I really & truly want a Deluxe, show-accurate-as-possible BM Botanica?

My idea is simple enough. Design them more like Classics 1, simple but great transformations. No Automorph or transmorphing features. A back to the basics approach, which made the line a success in the first place.

And character choice...surprise me, Hasbro.

- Tracks - New mold car, includes sculpted missile launcher and a gun.
- Drift - Slight remold of Tracks, with swords instead of gun and missile launchers.
- Sandstorm - Autobot triple-changer, from car to helicopter.
- Scourge - New mold.
- Carnivac - Decepticon wolf.
- Weirdwolf - Decepticon wolf, repaint of Carnivac with a remolded head.
- Topspin - Autobot.
- Twin Twist - Autobot, remold of Top Spin.

Voyager

- Grapple - Repaint and slight remold of Inferno to include a crane arm instead of the water cannon.
- Sludge - Dinobot.

Ultra

- Doubledealer - Dual-faction triplechanger.
- Thunderwing - Decepticon, appearance based on the vehicle and robot modes of the outer Pretender shell.
- Target-exclusive "Minions of Unicron" 3-pack - Includes 2 copies of the Deluxe Scourge mold repainted as Sweeps and 1 copy of the Cyclonus mold repainted as "Armada".

I want this, very much so. But after getting the fansproject armor for Magnus, I think I'd rather they do some Powermaster armor for Classics Prime.

Can I assume you mean, for example, a retail release like they did with the original MP Screamers then the show accurate colors Walmart MP Starscream?
