Great video. I think the set looks really cool and if it was cheaper then I'd consider buying it. But when I could buy a good G1 Dev. to replace my KO one for the same price, I think I'll pass.

There's just a lot more you can get for that price.

Good review and its cool that those pieces make a big difference for the G1 Devastator. To make him look cool. But I'm not going to buy it because its not my cup of tea, but the other collectors would.

WoW I SO had to get this but being short on cash I ordered the legs- alas they only have the silver versions left. I plan on getting the head next then last the hands. My guess is alot of people must have done this cause only the legs where sold out. Maybe I'll get lucky at Botcon?

    Positive:
    1) Excellent kit (and a great review of it). I like what the kit does for Devastator as it brings posability to what is an otherwise static gestalt.

    Negatives:
    1) Price... as mentioned before, FansProject gives more for less money with their kits.

    2) I don't like the idea of having to unscrew things to get the kit to work. Would it have been a lot of trouble for them to just provide the necessary pieces without compromising the original G1 parts? I only have my original G1 Devastator (over 25 years old... nervous about unscrewing/screwing into older plastic) and want to keep him in original (though played-with) condition. If I had two Devastators, I would proabably pick up the sets and upgrade one of them.

Optibotimus, thanks for the bent knee poses! They look great. He looks great! So if I want g1 devastator that looks this awesome it will cost me $200. Not that bad. Looks so amazing. Worth it, in the long run I think...

Wow look at this Devastator compared to that horrible movie version in the background....smh. I don't even have the G1 Devs (only the classic repaint ugh) but after looking at this video that may certainly change!

It's awesome looking but $100 for 3 pieces?

    Seems a little high...

Cool reviews there. I remember when I was growing up and they had the commercials for the Generation 2 constructicons, I wanted the set so badly but the only two that I ever got were Long Haul and Bonecrusher. Right now I don't have the money to purchase the Encore set, so I think I shall start saving up for it, because it is like you said, G1 Devastator is an icon, and a must have for every Transformers fan. I shall also subscribe to your channel on teh youtubes keep up the good reviews!

Nice video. It got really funny after he pulls out the tape measure and said he'll gain about an inch. (3:36) Then he speads eagle and says "can't wait for that." -LOL:lolol

Loved the review, but like a lot of others I was turned off when I saw the prices...even @ CrazyDevy's website. I do agree though it the parts make one of the worst G1 gestalts IMO look so much better. If I had a money tree in the backyard these would be mine!

These look really cool, but they're just way too expensive for me. And I usually buy all this stuff like the City commander and all that non-official stuff, but just $100 seems high

*No insult is intended to CrazyDevs or their products, because I don't have any of them*

    My view:
Head is nice. Yup, it's really really nice. I'd like one.
Thighs are nice. I love the extra height Dev gains.
But they're not that functional from what I hear. Devs topples over much?
Hands are meh. Do I really need that on a G1 figure?
Gun is very meh. I'm perfectly satisfied with his ordinary gun. Large is better, but I don't really want to pay that much extra to get a bigger one.

So, $100 to improve G1 Devastator??? You're out of your mind....

I realize 'CrazyDevs' is a small group with a limited focusgroup, but this is just insane.

Compare it to what you can get from FansProject?
TWO WHOLE FIGURES WITH ADDONS TO MAKE A COMPLETE BRUTICUS.

CrazyDevs, I really support what you're doing, and your products seem really nice, but get a name first, then increase your prices. At $40-50, your whole Devastator deal might be interesting. As it stands now, as an addon, for me it's just ludicrous.

dont forget its over 100.00. add in the shipping costs, then it would be around 120.00. why dont they make a full set instead of making us pay for so many little parts separately? well i guess they earn more that way right???

No...95 dollars was what i paid total...INCLUDING the shipping. Which is a flat rate they charge of 9 dollars, and 5 dollars for ANY extra pieces. So i only paid a total of 14 dollars for shipping, from Japan. All 3 sets, without shipping cost me around 81 dollars.

Do you have to buy all 3? I'd only be interested in the Head and the legs.
