maiden japan's F/R piledrivers were nicer imo, but the articulated thighs are pretty cool

I like Devastators legs in Silver, way better than the original purple.

Those piledriver images look 10x better than the first image that crapped up for them. These actually look like they've been finished.

Not sure what the deal with the silver Devy legs is. How often did they get colored silver in comics/toons and such?

Regarding the Devy legs, I'm just wondering if it's true what is being said about their stability. They look great in either color, but if he's just going to fall back all the time, then I'm not likely to be too interested.

Those Rumble/Frenzy heads are pretty pointless, since while the old heads weren't posable, they were better sculpted.

These are only $29.99 each on BBTS. Which is about half price compared to the Maiden Japan pistons he is selling on Ebay. I'd love the MJ set, but that price is just a smidge too high. Heck, the CrazyDevy price is just a smidge too high for these as well but that is nothing new for what this group has been doing for pricing on their stuff.

I think silver's a great choice---there's a bit of chrome on the Constructicons anyways (though little of it is visible in combined mode), and being silver w/purple, it'll "match" G1 green, G2 yellow, and G2 orange.

ummm what? MAIDEN was only charging 50 for the set AND it came with the more G1 custom Soundwave head, and that was shipped!

BBTS is charging 30 bucks for rumble and fenzy hammers, separately so thats 60 plus over priced shipping from them as well.

WAS charging $50. Is going well over $100 now: Transformers custom Rumble Frenzy piledrivers upgrade + - eBay (item 110510096165 end time Mar-28-10 11:40:52 PDT)

$117.50 shipped to be exact. Damn near double. Shipping from BBTS is maybe a buck or two per set for those of us that POL it.

The CD sets have replacement heads too, but for Frenzy and Rumble instead of Soundwave.

I got set number 16/100 I believe. Definite highlight of my collection. If you can get one of the last BIN sets on ebay for $50 it's a steal for what you get. I wouldn't settle for this KO set personally. Maiden Japan is also a great guy to deal with. Can't go wrong with him!

Wow. The piledrivers look kinda rough. I'd suggest those that want a set subscribe to MAIDEN JAPAN's thread to see when he's gonna put up the next batch. More than pleased with them. They're perfect. And cheaper. :D
