http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060420/ts_nm/life_work_dc_3 I bet the aforementioned skyrocketing gas prices are pinching this guy's wallet. I just don't get this. He can't maintain balance in his non-city lifestyle by living, say, 30 or 40 miles out of the city? There's not one place he can comfortably live that's any closer to his work than halfway across the state of California? To put this in perspective, 370 miles is a little more than the distance between my house and my parents house. My parents live in Atlanta, GA. I live in INDIANA. It's rough on me making that drive 2 or 3 times a year; let alone every single workday of the week. Yeeouch.
