That's funny cause I used to think the same. When I was a kid and first got to play with a Devastator the first thing I said to myself was wtf, eyes?! But as I got older I began to like the toy head more then the cartoon model.

 

Not interested in this. CD have been putting off Predaking's leg extensions for a long time. That should be what they focus on.

 

If this thing is a success, I predict CD will make a G1 style head for ROTF Devastator...

when this head was originally announced i hated it so much for tfc devy, first thing i disliked was in the cd pic the head looks to sit farther back on the shoulders than the original but in actuality the cd head simply fits onto the existing balljoint for the original head. Second, i just thought "this is a classics devastator, why a G1 head? and so bald?"   but i love when classics molds have G1 heads. so long story short i love this head but i am still looking forward to the tfc-007 replacement head, hopefully its the perfect match all though this cd G1 head is really growing on me.

I much prefer the G1 head but that is too small unfortunately. With the treads up it'll look even smaller.

I'm one of the very few (if not only) one that doesn't like the Herc stock head, not only in looks but it looks too small on his huge frame to me. Compare him to MP Prime and Megs who are both the same kinda size and they both have slightly bigger heads.

 

The CD version kinda looks like a head on a stick...just sayin. I'll admit it doesn't look too bad with all of the stickers on the figure. Really does make it look G1, but that gap. That gap just makes it look almost like a floating head.

 

that stock head isn't that bad to me...but what I really like is the new TFC head in the rage kit...that one looks perfect on Herc IMO, most likely especially with the Wu invulnerable face

 

Without the "brushing the teeth faceplate." Just saw your pics of invulnerable and I think I have to get it.

 

Agreed. For some reason I was thinking it was just the same head, but now able to swap out the mouth. Now that I've looked closer at it, it looks REALLY good!
