Boardwise, are you still off today? I cleared out Los Muertos last night and now I'm just finishing up things on those islands.
I played a little privately last night (so I could try to get the hang of it). The aiming/targeting system will take me some getting used to, but I dig it. LOTS of fun. Though I feel like I am not getting very far in the game, and I have already died twice
Just a note for Co Op. The host is the only one who will get the achievements for clearing out the whole gang and the gang intel achievements. Its better to have one person clear all of a gang in single player then have the other player host for co op. This way both can get the achievements and still get the complete all missions in Co Op achievement. Edit: The Host is the only one who gets progreess toward gang kills. So Player 1 (host) will get the achievements and can continue along in single player with the leaders dead that were killed in co op. Player 2 will have all abilities/orbs/supply points saved but will not have any of the gang leaders that were killed in co op carry over to their single player campaign.
I declared war on the eastern Europeans today and downtown commieville makes the Mexican islands look like McDonaldland, altougth I bagged the rocket launcher off that black market bitch and proceeded to dish out explosive justice.
Yeah, the step up in difficulty from the mexicans to the russians is quite apparent. The guy holed up in the northern chemical plant continues to kick my ass. I swear, I don't even see the explosive barrel till his goddamned sniper blows it right when I'm running by it.
I've gotten ridden of the Volk and Los Muertos. Along with like one or two Shai-Gen generals. My god, they're hard. The Shai-Gen seem to have like infinite gang members that come out of the road.
Finished the game today with my friend as the host (he had only killed 2 leaders when I joined). I've leveled all my abilities to 4 stars with explosives at 73%, driving at 17%, and guns at 5% towards being maxed and ganing that achievement. I also finished off all of the car achievements other than the Stunt Ring one (which we've been throwing each other through the rings). I'm up to 478 Agility orbs and 198 Hidden orbs. Leveling the cars is grand since the Supercar gets a gun. The gun counts towards Gun skill experience but the kills count towards vehicle kills so its easier to get the Roadkill King achievement as well as leveling up Guns. Also the way the cars "transform" when you get in them is pretty neat.
*Sigh* All I can do is look at the Crackdown case and sit at my comp playing the Sims 2 and CS:Source. I still haven't been able to send my 360 for repair, but tomorrow I will.
Me and Boardwise... well, lets just say Boardwise knows the intricacies of respawning thanks to me kicking him in the nuts. A lot.
I've gotten all 500 agility orbs and I'm up to 217 of the Secret orbs (I started using a map but quickly gave up). I've maxed everything to the limit except Guns which I'm at 37% to max. I need to finish the Road/Car Races (7 more to go), 26 more stunt rings and go through Time Trials in Co Op to get the Co Op achievement and I'll have 100% this game.
Yesterday was the day I bought the game. I'm up to over 200 Agility Orbs, almost up to lvl 4 agility. Got 70-some hidden orbs. Firearms 3. I love this friggin game. Gonna have to try co-op soon.
Hell yeah. Those stereotypes'll think twice before screwing with us. We'll stack up enough cars to blow their entire building to hell and back!
It wasn't just the kicking me in the nuts. It was throwing cars with me in it. Lobbing a grenade then telling me it was at my feet. Driving with my on the roof and you suddenly going off a cliff. Still, I got rid of the first kingpin last night. Time for the Ruskies to go down.
I totally blowed up a bunch of illegal immigrants in one mighty rocket shot. Then the Agency came and killed me while I was tackling the boss. Boy, did I ever feel stupid. Awesome, but stupid.
My Friend: "Man, we can't get to that Supply Point. I'm going to try and see if I can latch onto that window over there and climb up." Me: "Ok." My Friend climbs onto a ledge next to me. "Alright, I'm going to jump over there." Me: "Ok." I kick him in the back. My Friend (as he falls to his death): "I f**kin hate you. You're dead."
