    Apologies if already spotted, but there's now a cover available for the June release of "Classic Transformers":

    Transformers Classics Volume 1 TP: Amazon.co.uk: Frank Springer, Alan Kupperberg, William Johnson, Mike Manley, Ricardo Villamonte, Herb Trimpe, Don Perlin, Bob Budiansky, Bill Mantlo, Ralph Macchio, Jim Salicrup: Books

    So, whatever it is, its not a straight reprint of IDW's earlier Classics Vol 1, which included issues #1-16 of Marvel US (excluding #3 and #9). The description is really vague, unless this is somehow a collection of IDW's "Generations" comics...

    Based on the actual item description, yes. At least re-released/repackaged. Not sure about the recolor. I personally hate it when comics are recolored, so I hope not.

    I'd almost rather watch Transformers Energon than read anything by IDW.

    I hope they aren't recoloured. I don't see the point in it. I always thought it was cool that Nel Yomtov coloured every issue of the US Marvel run.

    It would be the only thing that could get me interested. The art of the G1 comic is particularly horrid.

    Personally if they, RE-Drew the Comics in a more modern style, it would be awesome.
