    Chaps !

I've taken the plunge and decided to try my hand at dying for the first time. The first time I did it (turning a G1 Tailgate black) worked brilliantly.
However the second time I did it (using the same mixture) trying to turn Energon Skyblast's legs black (I'm trying to do a Ptitvite shrapnel) they went deep brown ! Have I cocked it up somewhere ? Also I want to try to do my own anime astrotrain, would a short exposure to RIT black turn the adequate parts grey ? Help !!!!

that happens with certain grey and white plastics. Just keep dipping it in the dye, it'll turn eventually. it just happened to me a few weeks ago. just be patient and cool the part off often to prevent warping

And yes, short exposure to black dye should turn Astrotrain grey.
