I know there probably arent many people who listen to country music, but I wanted to see who did and what your favorite artists are. Either Older Country, Newer Country, Country Pop, Country Rock, Country Rap, or any genre of Country Music, post it here and see just how many people share a love of country music.

My personal favorite artists are Jordan Rager, Luke Bryan, Justin Moore, and Brantley Gilbert, and a little Jason Aldean and Colt Ford

Well, there's always Alan Jackson, Derric Ruttan, Eric Church, Dean Brody, Duane Steel & Paul Brandt. Plus, Hey Romeo & Band Perry are pretty much staples, and then there's Ashley Monroe. :)

    - Deric Ruttan - California Plates - YouTube
    - Sinners Like Me Eric Church Lyrics - YouTube
    - Dean Brody - Dirt Roads Scholar - YouTube
    - Duane Steele - Ghost Town - YouTube
    - Paul Brandt - Didn't Even See the Dust - Official Music Video - YouTube
    - Hey Romeo - That's What I Am - YouTube
    - The Band Perry - If I Die Young - YouTube
    - "I Don't Want To" by Ashley Monroe - YouTube

Actually, probably 80-90% of the music I listen to is country, and even the stuff I don't exactly dig is passable hah.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned drinking and losing your dog? I thought that's what all country songs were about.

I love country. I prefer classic rock more, but country is my second favorite music genre. I just could never get into the whole heavy metal screaming, rap, and hip hop which is all more popular for some reason even though they're always about drugs and blowjobs.

That is not the most perfect country song ever written, because it didn't say anything about mama, a dog, a train, a pickup truck, or getting drunk....:D

Mostly old country for me, with a bit of 90s stuff- Johnny, Willie, Waylon, Hank (mostly Junior), Garth, and Travis. And I don't dislike Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, The Dixie Chicks, or Keith Urban.

Can't stand Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, or any of the other pop star wannabes.

I was raised on classic country. My mom is more of an 80s rocker but she used to listen to folks such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Buck Owens, etc. for as long as I can remember. Thanks to this, I also developed a slight interest for Southern rock. I don't understand all the negativity towards country but I agree with my grandpa when he says the new stuff is awful. Oh and FYI: not ALL country songs are depressing.

Someone buy this man a beer.

I have Deana Carter's first album, but mostly liked it due to association with someone I dated. Did she get better after that? Still...'We Danced Anyway' always brings a smile to my face.

Old country, more specifically, stuff from about the 70's and 80's is some of the best. Ronnie Milsap to this day is one of the all time greatest singers ever, the man is one of the most talented men to ever enter the music scene, god i am glad this version of kaw liga is finally on youtube
