Do you remember this British toon series with anthropomorphised characters?I loved it when I was a child in the 80's.

Duckula was the main character,an harmless vegetarian vampire duck always searching for treasures and glory with the help of his castle able to teleport all around of the world, then there was his sinister butler Igor, who expresses so many aspects of the British humour of the series, and Nanny.

A lot of episodes were enthralling and fun with also a brilliant humour, besides sometimes appeared also vampire hunter dr.Goosewing, another memorable character.

Count Duckula rocked when I was a kid! Unfortunately I don't think I've seen it since I was like six or so.

Whats funny is that this fellow was spun off from 'Danger Mouse', but in DM he was a villain. Here, he's......well, Duckula.

Most enjoyed. Dangermouse too. I've met David Jason because he used to live fairly near me and he was a really nice guy.

Heheh Banana Man. Dang. I'd love to see these shows on DVD.

I know Duckula and Danger Mouse exist on DVD, but I'd like to see the full series of all of 'em. Even Blu-Ray.

American fan of Duckula since i was 7 when the show aired here on Nick in the US and been a fan of the character before on Danger Mouse, he's such an awesome character.

I think Shout Factory should aquire rights to DM and Duckula for US DVDs

I miss both Dangermouse, and Duckula, wish the BBC or some other channel would repeat them.

I remember watching Count Duckula when I was a kid (we never got Danger Mouse on TV, but he appeared in a few of the comics I read), but it never really seemed to catch on in North America, maybe because it never got a good timeslot?

In Canada Duckula played on YTV in the after school time slot. Danger mouse was played in Calgary during a local kids show called Buckshot.

Well, I hope to find a way to get the UK DVDs soon. Can never forget some of Cosgrove Hall's most famous works! :D

This thread reads like my DVD collection, I got the danger mouse box set, sadly only season one of duckula and all of banana man.

I keep meaning to get the other Cosgrove hall stuff, there wind and the willows was awesome and I have the two disc world films they did which were amazing, although I wish they hadn't changed the end of Soul Music.

Hell yes I remember Count Duckula. One of the better 80s cartoons. I used to watch it on Nickelodeon every day after school.

I loved the show. At first I thought it was a Disney show.
