Looking at the photos of the tank and the Shockwave head cutout, I noticed what you see below. Am I just imagining the similarity? Thoughts?
Shock's horns don't appear as curved as those on the...thing. Could be the angle of the head cut out, though.
i'm thinking no. Just because it kind of has raised parts that look like horns doesn't mean it's old Shocky.
given how the movie designs dont really go for covering up anything in transformation IE megatrons head in tank modes its completely possible. It seems like a small detail but it is very possible that it could be and the only thing that would make me think otherwise is that carly and sam were sitting in it for one of the shoots. Either prisoners or Shockwave is a good guy lol
I'll go all Mythbusters with it and say plausible. Not enough to make me say confirmed but not enough there to make me say busted either.
this thng looks like the mechtech weaponry prime come with even what bumblebee comes with. im guessing its a powerpack tech thing more then a character.
WAIT what? How is that likely what optimus combines with. Its perfectly nondescript in every way except the protrusions that do look like shockwaves horns. Im baffled as to why you d thin kit would combine with him more than why its not shockwave
If you look even further at th picture there is the shape of the lower horns ( not to be confused with the lower horns in futurama ) so it seems possible even more so that the dual set of horns are visible in that alt mode only issue is though its not purple and he is clearly purple.
Ive always thought that flying tank thing is either shockwave or the thing inside Primes trailer that fires the rockets and has claw arms and so on. It does remind me of that a bit. Although if it is Shockwave I'm struggling to think why Sam and Carly are clambering over him when its pretty much the last place they'd want to be.
Unless there is a logical reason to protect Sam and Carly, regardless of Autobot or Decepticon affiliation.
I'm gonna say no, but that's on the condition that what we see is what will be on screen. That vehicle is too small for so much of it to be Shockwave's head, unless he's a Duocon or something.
