    Just a thought...

In TRU's announcement of masterpiece Rodimus coming to SDCC, they mention something interesting:

"Best known as Optimus Prime’s successor to the Autobot Matrix of Leadership in the 1986 Transformers movie, this fan favorite character has the ability to transform into his Winnebago vehicle mode."

It seems to me that it would be quite dumb to mention the winnebago if you are not going to include it. While its definite the release to stores will be trailer-less, does anyone else think this may be an SDCC exclusive?

(My apologies if this was brought up before!)

Well to be fair, they said that the character can transform into a moving meth lab, not that the toy that you're physically buying can do that.

Yeah not going to happen. It's going to be the same as the one at TRU. If people want the winnebago mode buy the TakaraTomy one.

Its kinda of dickish to even mention the trailer than don't you think? It like mentioning a car has 4 wheel drive but then only selling the two wheel drive model. Why even mention it?

    Jerkstores!

Because sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I doubt they're doing something 'dickish' intentionally, it's just an oversight/ignorance on specific details of the product.

Yeah, and everyone does it. It's the whole "available 4 wheel drive" taglines that don't really guarantee that what you buy will have that.

Also, that doesn't make sense. There is no "jerk store".

Apparently you've never seen an Old Navy.
