If you've seen season 2.5/the TV event, you'll know that Starscream was trying to collect the Mini-Cons and the Dark Star Saber to track down Megatron and destroy him for everything he did to him. Now, obviously the Autobots stopped Starscream and arrested him. However, what if Starscream some how was able to either defeat the Autobots or avoid them or something and track down and confront Megatron. What do you think would happen? Do you think Starscream would be able to succeed in getting his revenge and destroying Megatron? Or would Megatron actually destroy Starscream?

Personally, I think that Megatron would either use his cunning to either get Starscream's bounty hunters on his side or that he would fight Starscream. I think that either one could win, but if a gun (I mean fusion cannon  ) were pressed against my head and I had to choose a winner, I would say Megatron just because he's more cunning while Starscream is blinded by his overconfidence. But that's just my thoughts, how about you?

We haven't seen the exact full power of him yet :/ as I saw on the finale, he can only battle on-par with Power surge OP with only use of The saber.

 

Megatron is a much better and more efficient fighter, I think in the long run he would win. He's much more likely to use deadly force, which Prime is not. Besides, Starscream's fear of Megatron would get the better of him.

 

Megatron could also taunt and goad Starscream to muck up his focus and decision making ability, just like Bumblebee did.

 

Starscream got outwitted and beaten by the Autobots.
Megatron still has his Unicron upgraded body and poosibly retains the Dark Energon powers
No Contest. Megatron would utterly walk through Starscream. Then raise Starscream as an undead minion and make him dance for his amusement

 

Powered-up Starscream could not.

Powered-up Megatron would beat Megatron, but Starscream has demonstrably proven that he is prone to being too sure of himself when he gets the upper hand, and almost never exhibits quick enough wit to come up with a Plan B when his ego fails him.

Megatron has shown us that he can outsmart his opponents when they outnumber him, or exceed him in strength or power. Be it against an Insecticon swarm, with his Fusion Cannon disabled and squaring off against the fiercest Insecticon, or an enraged Predaking, he's proven he can quickly turn a bad situation to his advantage.

 

Doubtfull, call me dubious but I never believed that even if he could he would kill Megatron. He merely wanted his concent and respect. Or do I remember it wrong?

 

No, he definetly wants to kill Megatron in RiD. The two reasons for this are 1.) he wants revenge on Megatron beating him up in Prime (even though this was retaliation for Starscream trying to kill Megatron) and 2.) for disbanding the Decepticons at the end of Prime.

 

Arent we talking about Armada? Minicons the Starsaber etc?

 

No, this thread is about Prime/RiD Starscream. RiD 2015 also has Minicons in it.

I think that Megatron could destroy Starscream because he is taller than Starscream and can make him scared in 5 seconds. I mean, haven't you seen that time when he tried to let Megatron rot in space so he could lead the Decepticons and then Megatron comes and beats him up to scrap which resulted him major injuries and he had to go to Knock Out and rest on that thing the patients lay down on??

 

If Megaton lost the Dark Energon powers he gained from Unicron, then yes I could see Starscream winning. The Mini-Con Weaponizers by themselves can enhance a Bot to a super high amount of strength. Seven to one Bot would give that Bot an advantage. Let's also realize the Star Saber could kill Megaton in one hit and the Dark Star Saber is made of Dark Energon.

There is the possibility of Megs being immune to dark Energon due to his contact with it but I'm not exactly sure if that's the case.
