Hi guys, I dont know if this is the forum so I'll post on a few forums and let the mods delete the ones not needed. But I didnt realize to ship from the U.S. oversees was 40$+ from USPS , Fedex and UPS. Is there a cheaper way? its insane.. is there some embargo against the U.S. or what the heck is going on.

I sold some things on Ebay, and I sold a lot of MTG cards... since that doesnt cost much at all in padded envelopes I thought It couldnt be that bad for a small package but 40$ is absurd...

Thanks for any help... I'm just going to assume I need to refund their money and put it back up for US and Canada only. But I thought maybe someone would know of a cheaper way.

    Ebay:
First class international, and use PayPal or the USPS web site to set up the postage and tracking will be free. Using expedited services to ship international is outrageous unless it is an expensive item. If you're unsure of the weight of the item, do what I do. Take it to the PO and have them weigh it, then bring it back home and print the postage for the online discounts and as I said free tracking.

^what he said: go first class air mail.

There's no tracking so if it gets lost...it's lost. (And a dishonest buyer can screw you over with Paypal claiming he never got it.) However, I've been using it for years as both a seller and a buyer and I never had a lost package. (The only one that didn't arrive, was never sent.)

Just make sure it's to a safe country. With Europa all/most of northern Europe is good. Southern Europe can be a bit tricky (esp. Italy -- comments from an Italian to me: unregistered hardly ever arrives or is emptied of the product). Rest of the world...don't know :)

I always ask for international First class. Not just because it's cheaper, but also because it's actually faster.
