I mean, what if they really love it. Could it happen?
Possible, but very doubtfully would it be cost effective. They're already producing their own manga, but that might be the limit of new Animated fiction we see from Japan. Especially when you consider that this fall they'll have a new series to bring over.
Don't get me wrong, it'd be great, but unfortunately, I don't think it's very likely.
It's always possible, I suppose. I'd definitely love if that were to happen though, as I'm sure many others would.
Prime is coming. They'll go with that, or just focus on henkei when generations gets a few waves out.
^ That sounds a lot more probable, actually. It would kinda make more sense if they moved on to dubbing Transformers: Prime once they finished up with Transformers Animated. Of course it doesn't hurt to dream...
I'd be happy with even an extra animated movie or something....but I'd like to think it could be like G1 where Japan keeps on going with this one. Ah wells. Maybe Prime will grab me the same way Animated did, but it's a tough act to follow.
Better question: Could japan produce further Animated FIGURES! I honestly think that's more probable than continuing the show.
The possibility exists that they might ruin it with anime-style storytelling.
Maybe we'll see manga sidestories, that wouldn't be too bad, would it?
Unless ANimated is doing insane ratings, I don't think so. As far as new figures, maybe a few more repaints more than US. Repaint BB into deluxe Cliffjumper. Simple new characters that way.
Possibly, but I seriously hope not. The dub has been changed too much, and we'd still get that dumbass family segment with each episode. Best leave it where it lays for now until Japan quits screwing up Animated.
If they did (wich is very doubtfull) it would be made to go along with the movie vers. Just like the jappanese dub of the show.
I hope not.
You know it would be absolutely nothing like Animated if they did produce it soley for Japanese audiences.
honestly, the best chance of more animated is by letting hasbro we want more. a direct to DVD movie or something.
still not a good chance, but it's better than expecting a new season out of japan.
The dub really isn't all that different. It's mostly just cuts that are made to accommodate time for the family segments.
Does anyone know what the feedback has been like for the show in japan? I heard it hadn't done too well and wondered if anyone could confirm this.
I'd love that....It would be nice if they actually got a U.S dub afterwards and got the American voice cast to dub it.
but obviously Animated in Japan it's different. You have a better chance of Paris hilton graduating from Harvard than for this to ever happen.
I wouldn't expect a new season out of Japan, not with TFs: Prime on the way. But maybe a movie if the show's quite well-received? Kinda like what they did for BW2.
I don't have alot of knowledge on Transformer cartoons at all besides G1 and Animated. That being said I have a question about Beast Wars. How did Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo come about. Were they released after our Beast Wars ran it's course or did they run simultaniously? I guess what I am saying more to the point is, if Beast Wars II and Neo came out after our Beast Wars over here, it could be possible, No?
