Yea, you're right. I had forgotten his colors were more sensible in Last Stand of the Wreckers. Now that I think about it, a repaint like Ribieconvoy suggested would be pretty awesome.

Which raises the question of why the Titanium Hot Zone (who is obviously Hot Spot) has gold eyes...

Good question. I was going to say it's because he's loosely based on the unreleased OTFCC Hot Spot/Defensor, but even his eyes are red (except for the black version, which has blue eyes). I guess it's just random.

Yes, I see his head much more as Grimlocks head mixed with Nemesis Prime.

Here's a good question. Who will be used for the limbs when the obvious custom defensors come out? I could see this figure easily being fitted with , say, FOC Bruticus's ports for another SC combiner.

    The answer(s)?

    1. 2.0 Prowl or RTS Jazz = Streetwise
    2. E. Towline or 2.0 Ratchet (honorable mention: Prime Ratchet) = First Aid
    3. Animated Prowl or Armada Sideways = Groove
    4. HFTD Tomahawk* = Blades

*2.0 Blades was oftentimes used, but if we're going to go with a 1 voyager/4 deluxe combiner format, then Tomahawk makes sense. Another potential candidate would be Armada Cyclonus, but like Sideways, he'd have to be considerably modified.

I'm basing all of this on the custom Defensors I've seen during the last 4 years.

I think with a bit of modification, a Junkion could pass as a decent Groove.

I can't help but see a dirtbike every time I look at the Junkions, which is why I think Prowl and Sideways would each make a better base for Groove (short of a scratch build, of course).

Hot Spot's the most badass guy to wear baby blue since Steve Buscemi in The Wedding Singer

Here's what I'm planning on using for the rest of the team (for now, and no I don't plan on making them combine!):

    Blades - Universe 2.0 Blades
Groove - Galaxy Force Police Gasket Gasket (Police Type) - Transformers Galaxy Force - TFW2005
First Aid - HFTD Rescue Ratchet (really needs a new head though)
Streetwise - Botcon 2010 (I know it's the G2 version, but close enough)
