Could Hotspot's head be re-purposed?

    look at it closely. couldn't Generations Hotspot's head possibly be a Grimlock head? just sculpt the teeth into the sides of the faceplate and you've got an IDW Grimlock head

    Nah, if anything, paint it blue, and put it on Botcon Pyro.

    It looks almost Animated to me. The shape of the faceplate seems to imply he as a huge chin

    The head would be great for Pyro too. It's a bit of a shame the Botcon one already exists.

    I am totally commissioning a custom Pyro out of this, the Botcon colors just look bright and fugly

    I'm not really feeling Grimlock, but Hasbro could just release Hotspot in colors more accurate to LSOTW Pyro (and a bit more muted than the Botcon release). That way the Botcon release stays unique and the masses get an awesome Pyro.

    I think the entire point of having Pyro as a G2 Redux exclusive was to have his colors look bright and fugly...just like the other exclusives of the set.

    Same, it looks like a more rounded, eviler version of Ani. Optimus' head to me.

    A LSOTW Pyro with that head would be more than acceptable to me.

    True, but not everybody who wants a Pyro for their collections on account of him being in LSOTW wants a brightly colored, overpriced Inferno repaint. LSOTW Pyro has much more muted colors and is supposed to look like Optimus Prime due to some kind of mental condition he has.
