I'm disiding on paying 40 dollars for an energon wheeljack to put with my classics can anyone give me some pictures of him with other clasics figures please. Is he worth it?

 

Sorry, no pictures here.... but he is a really nice figure and fits very well with the Classics line. Is he $40 good? Not in my opinion. Is that the going rate for that guy now?

 

I take it you mean, Energon Downshift? He fits in nicely with the Classics line. The Hasbro version has the horrid olive green color. The Japanese version looks much nicer with the silver limbs but is really hard to find. I use to have the Hasbro one but got rid of it because of the colors and the lackluster legs.

And no, it is not worth $40. Maybe $10, $15 tops.

 

Wow... whoever is charging you 40 bucks is ripping you off. I've seen it on ebay these days for like 12 average.

 

He is definitely not worth $40. I mean, I got mine from BBTS a while ago for $11.

 

I paid less than that for my Superlink Wheeljack a few months back and he has much closer G1 coloring than Energon Downshift.

Superlink Wheeljack is a pain to find, I looked over 2 years for a minty one in box for a decent price but it was well worth it to me anyway.

 

I have Universe Downshift, he has yellow instead of pea green. I'm looking to get rid of him, PM me if you're interested.

 

hvae the energon version...was one of my earlier figures....the toy should be around $10 not $40.....your going to get screwed.

At a panel not so long ago Hasbro representatives said it was "too early" to talk about Classics Wheeljack. So, sit tight.

 

I got Energon Downshift just recently and I love him. Great addition to the classics line up as Wheeljack. But definitely not worth 40 USD. Mine cost me 25 USD shipped to Europe. A word of warning, due to the powerlinx gimick his leg articulation is there, but totaly unusable. He has front-back and left-right knee joints, but he has no true hip joints.

 

Yeah, not even close to $40, but still a bloody good fig, and a nice usable standin for Wheeljack till the Classics comes along. I'm working on a means of fixing the leg articulation (actually for a different character kitbash), but if it works well, I'm going to go back and try the same thing on my Downshift, since I have little use for the Powerlinx gimmick anyway.
