We DID get a Movie Trilogy line.

It had one figure in it and then got canceled.

    The End.

No one knows that for sure, including you. And there has been plenty said to suggest it won't be.

The movie line is done for now. At least in this country. Stores don't want more, so Hasbro won't offer more. If there was demand for it, they wouldn't have canceled the line mid-stream the way they did.

He asks a question then gets irate about the answer.

It doesn't matter. Even if we all said, "YES!!!!" it still wouldn't be possible and Hasbro still wouldn't do it.

And you're not paying attention. So try and do so now.

It's a movie toyline. Movie toylines generally do well for Hasbro. A reboot, or not, they'll shove past, present and future movie designs into it. They'll need to to recoup their costs of producing it.

And, besides, this movie is a reboot, but it's also in the same universe and continuity as the previous three. Bumblebee and Optimus remain the same. So, the same style and design should be carried over to the new movie and toys.

You haven't been paying attention to Hasbro's releases since 2007? Really?

It will be a soft reboot at most. Love it or hate it DOTM made plenty of money and they aren't going to change much.

I for one don't care to see anymore "movie" toys. Too many of them at certain stores, and of the stores that don't have much left, its always the same ones that no one wants.

I'm taking a wait and see approach, there is a lot of time before the next movie and I'm not really sure if it can be filled by all of the other lines. The fact that DOTM stuff isn't moving quite as fast could just mean the movie line is indefinitely postponed.

Also there have been weird releases with movie transformers things, such as McDonalds releasing ROTF happy meal toys a good year after the movie.

One thing I am pretty annoyed with though is Soundwave was such a big player in this last movie and wasn't released in initial waves.

Not a Movie Trilogy line, but I wouldn't be surprised if some movie stuff found it's way into Generations(mainly the unreleased ones like Soundwave and Que).
