Thinking about having a friend of mine do a commission for me. It's a fairly simple repaint of a deluxe figure with some sticker application and maybe a scratchbuilt head.

I'm providing the figure, stickers, and other materials. Does anyone know what a fair amount for him to charge is?

Personally, I'd charge $40-50, but that might be too low for some customizers...or too high for someone providing the base figure, stickers, and materials.

It would all depend on how good the paint job is.

A fantastic paint job can take weeks of time and effort and a good paint job can take hours. I would say its a very open price list.

I would look at the other stuff he has done in the past and then think how much you would pay for that kind of paint job.

this, if it's something with a lot of detail as well, that drives the price up. for a simple headswap repaint, i'd charge 50-60.
