For some time now, I've wanted to do my own Cosmos custom, however, I wanted to escape the norm of making it from binoculars. This wish was difficult to fulfill for it was difficult finding a base figure.

I eventually made it from a Power Rangers Ninja Storm figure I picked up at a flea market. At the time I had no idea what it turned into. It was sometime later that I realized that it turned into a sting ray. I spent some time looking over the general shape and the thrusters mounted in the back and knew that I had my Cosmos Base.

The head came from a McDonald's RoboSapien toy only because I couldn't find anything better. With a little work, I think it passes by though. The chest plate came from a random parts box I bought the same day.

I tried color matching as best as possible, even adding in his chest colors. I think he turned out pretty good. It's definetly a step-up from the mini bot stage.

New head is made from Beast Wars Transmetal Scavenger

    Shuttle mode is great.
I don't dig the blue chest and he could use a new head.
    That said, it is brilliant.

I got to say that's impressive, but the only thing bothers me is his face. His eyes kinda look funny and should of been closer to his face plate though, but still its very interesting choice for the mold though. Thats for sure.

Any ideas what I could use for a head? It's the only one I had lying around, I wasn't too fond of it myself. I have a spare Armada Red Alert head, but I don't know if that would be any better.

I made the chest blue simply to reflect his animated counterpart. I admit it kind of clashes something terrible.

I dig this one as well. Very good job with a non-TF mold. Good to see a non-Longview, although I am quite fond of that on as well.

It is brilliant, don't bother about the head, you'll eventually get the right one. You have already made the hard part with the body.

After looking more at the actual head you have, I would advise you just relocate his eyes before replacing it.
I'ts gonna make a total diff.
Ezilla82 is right ;)  But the blue chest still bugs me!:puke:  lol

That shuttle mode is hella sweet, not so sure about the head. Nice, though, all around.

very original. honestly the head and chest don't bother me. It's more the muscles that do. Otherwise it looks great!

Yeah, weird isnt it? Who knew Power ranger figures were so buff?
Before I added the chest plate, he originaly had very defined pex and abs. There was just no way I was keeping that.

I dont know about the new head, in a weird sense it kinda looks like either Jhiaxus or Straxus to me. But still its still good.
