    This was my Botcon custom entry this year. Figured I'd do a shoot and put the pics up for all to see.

    I usually use a black backdrop that end up looking gray and the pictures come out really good. Unless I'm photographing a black toy. Then it wants to blend in too much. So I tried a white background, and found it to be just as difficult to get the black to show up. I may have to try to find a nice grey background so that taking pics of both black and white figures won't be so bad.
