Who's seen it? Who likes it? I saw it in theatres & loved it. Very good movie. Kinda creepy, but still awesome. I have it on DVD. I got the 2-disk collector's edition. Once I free up a helluva alot of space on the disk drive that we have iTunes on, I can put Coraline on iTunes & then my iPod.

I liked the movie and the book.
    The book was obviously better.
But, I find it amazing how well
they did that movie in all stop
    motion animation. Really, the
only way it's obvious that it
was done that way, is with the
    slightly jerky face movements.

Saw it in 3-D and loved it. The settings, music, etc. was first class.

Probably one of the best movies I've seen in awhile animated or otherwise. My only complaint is that I had to wade through a bunch of emo teens to see the damn thing with my girl. I really hope all the emo guys wearing those tight girl jeans will be unable to ever reproduce due to how constricting their jeans are, thus sparing us from emo babies.

Love this movie. All the behind the scenes on how it was made is absolutely FASCINATING. This is an understatement as I just want to make sure to post this next part.

A word of disclaimer for anybody who has the DVD:

DO NOT WATCH IT WITH THE 3D GLASSES ON DVD (and I assume Blu ray too).

The 3d is spectacular in the theater of course, but with the purple/green glasses they give you with the dvd all it does is provide VERY fuzzy 3d of varying levels of quality while totally and completely ruining the colors and look of the film. So not worth it. Hopefully, this is a fairly obvious statement, but I know many people will want to watch it in 3d when they get it.

Me, the wife, my dad, and my 4 nephews all thought it was pretty awful. It was extremely dull, pretty stupid, and the voice actors were very annoying. One of the worst animated movies I've watched in awhile.

Awesome movie. The Coraline's behavior was very realistic - her idiosyncrasies were very believable. Dakota Fanning's line delivery didn't feel like rehearsed dialog as opposed to 99.999999% of all dialog in shows and movies.

It's on my to-buy list when it hits DVD here. I love these stop-motion movies. Well, not enough to have got off my arse and seen it in the cinema, but I've heard enough good things about it to be confident a disc purchase will be worth it.

Coraline was great. The only thing associated with the film that I hated were all those people who swore blind that it was a Tim Burton production.

It was a very good film. I think it should be shown to animation students, as I thought it had many great examples of character animation. It got a little trippy at the end, but still, it was an extremely well crafted film.
