I guess ATs need a bit more push   This is Takara DMZ Scopedog. Like LigerPrime says, Max-35 is cool, too. The black one I posted before is Max-35 Bloodsucker.

For the fists, once folded in, palm should be facing you (thumb at the bottom), it will close perfectly. You will have to slightly rotate the fist at an angle to fold it in though (thumb will be in the way).

The shoulder covers stick out from under the tank, it's shown like that in the instructions. I guess it's not show-accurate, but at least, it means no extra parts lying around,

    Ebay:
Puzzler from the Go-Bots is an amazing combiner. It puts the G1 Combiners to shame except for maybe Predaking. The only reason I say, "maybe Predaking" is that Puzzler doesn't have as much articulation but it has far fewer accessories. In fact, it has no accessories at all.

Scratch from Go-Bots kicks the crap out of any of the G1 minibots. He looks a bit like Cybertron Overhaul, he has a waist, and can side kick. Very impressive little figure.

Any MSIA, if you're into Gundam's design aesthetic.

Any of the LEGO Mindstorms kits, if you're going by "robot = computer-controlled machine". Mindstorms will help you build actual robots, and not just the weirdly-proportioned-humans-in-armor predicted by most mecha series.

MSiA = Mobile Suit in Action.

lol And asking whether to buy GunBuster or not is like asking "Is air worth breathing?"

YES! Go buy it now! lol

I kinda afraid to because I might not be able to resist that Gunbuster SOC figure. I still have a VF-0 to get, but since my YF-19 is on the way, I may have to grab the Gunbuster while the grabbin's good. :)

Here's some pictures of MSIA figures in action or rather the first 2 pixs is the offshoot of the MSIA..."Extended Mobile Suit in Action"! The MSIA line is in my opinion, the best robot action figure line for Gundams...especially the later releases.

The Gunbuster...I don't own the fella but its a really beauty....but the price is quite high...get him if you are a fan of the anime.

megatroptimus - thanks. I can getthe "closed fists" in but barely...there's a slight gap.

SydnyY - those Votoms are beautiful...I just saw the Takara Scopedog with space pack the other day!

Gunbuster is incredible, both as an anime and a SOC. Get both! The best part about Gunbuster is that it's a giant, super robot anime... but it goes in depth with the physics and consequences of sublight travel. You can probably find a fair amount of it on youtube if you want to eyeball it.

    Lol

I'd never seen the anime when I bought Gunbuster. I watched it on Youtube, though, afterwards. It was kinda a let-down - Gunbuster doesn't appear until the end of the series, really... Though, to be fair the series is only 6 eps. Search Youtube for "Top wo nerae: Gunbuster" or the usual variants therein. You'll find it.

And yes, the last ep IS supposed to be black and white. I hear various theories on why, though...

I don't know a lot about this figure or what it's from, but it looks awfully neat, regardless. Babushka robots! SOC GX-39:

So what's the basic story on that one. It looks incredible, but I'm trying to fathom a reason why there'd be armor for armor, or one inside of another inside of another. Is one of them supposed to be a human, or are all three components meant to be robotic?

how expensive are Godaikins these days? My greandparentts went to Japan and picked up two Chogokin Godsigma DXs for my brother and I. Mine is in near mint with all accessories and my brother's is pretty trashed but has most accessories. I wished I had kept its box though...
(And they are not for sale).
