Damien Hirst's Verity, A Statute Of A Naked Pregnant Woman, Erected In Devon Now, I aint linking to the story because I don't know if it'll break some sort of rule because she's naked. SO I caught this story on the Huffington Post UK website: First of all... I thought that the UK was cool with nudity. But the nudity isn't what gets me; what gets me is that half of her skin is peeled off!. I don't call that a cross section; look at her arm and leg- her skin is peeled like a banana. So, in short, there is a town with a 66ft statue of a zombie- with some bare breast and nice, aroused, pokey nipples. Now, I have no issue with the nudity or the statement the artist is making: But the story focuses more about the nakedness and not the Walking Dead aspect of it. Don't get me wrong- it is beautifully detailed (her face is rather bland tho) but I do find a statue of a skinned nude chick to be weird.
