Hasbrotoyshop.com put the exclusive alt rodimus and tit menasor up. But for the moment rodimus is unavailable.

It's good news that its going on the store. And not just as a limited comic con promo only.

..sorry if that's old news. But when they get more in I'll certainly try and order one. So this is a retool/repaint of the alt mirage mold?

For those who have this alt... is he much better that KP Rodimus?

I know the paint apps are different, but besides that... what else has changed?

Rodimus looks awesome. Can't wait for mine to arrive. I like the pic of Mirage and Rodimus shaking hands.

That's alot better looking than I had expected. Very nice. I'm looking forward to setting it side by side with KP Rodimus to see how the compare.

Does the license plate show the year?

I don't have a KP Hot Rodimus to compare. If I did I would have loved to have shot them side-by-side. Maybe a future update if I can get my hands on someone's to shoot. Thansk for thek ind words all. I might add another few robot mode images just to round out the gallery a bit.

I'm not sure how I'm going to 'name' this one in my collection. I prefer to give them identities that follow the G1 continuity. For instance, I refer to Decepticharge as Dragstrip and KP Autolooper is Streetwise. With the two Ravages, the Jaguar is a G1 upgrade from his cassette mode and the Corvette version is another evolution of Ravage towards his Beast Wars form. The e-Hobby clear Mirage version coming out in a few months is easy to explain away-- it's already been said it represents his invisibility mode. Now, with two versions of Rodimus, KP and Alt, I think the 'flame on' version will be Hot Rod and the KP version will be explained in my collection as a Rodimus Prime upgrade after he abandoned his 'flaming winnebago of love' mode.

I have my own wacky little timeline, y'see.

ummm... i really doubt they will ever have any ever again, it's a SDCC EXCLUSIVE. i doubt they'd mass release it and devalue it.

This is gonna be the longest weekend EVER.

Tracking my order on UPS.com has my Rodimus floating around on a truck somewhere between Eagan, MN and Horsham, PA.

I actually got the shipping notice this evening from HTS, although Rodimus had already been delivered this morning. :lol  Very nice, but I still prefer his KP counterpart. (I am a big fan of the Ford GT so I like the more accurate stripes versus flames and the fishing rod/guns the KP version came with).

I'd love to have an Alternators version of the Ford GT's progenitor (the 1966 Ford GT40). Maybe I'll buy that 1:24 scale Fujimi model and attempt a reshell, although it might be difficult since the new GT is quite a bit bigger than the GT40. (Bonus points to anyone that can correctly answer why Ford called its new supercar the Ford "GT" and not "GT40")

The original GT40 was 40 inches high, the new one is however 43 inches high, thus they dropped the 40, did I get it right?

Heh. I don't think Ford even has the rights to name GT40 anymore.
