It wouldn't even make sense for Grindor to be a Pave Low in the movie - they have been retired. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but at this point it certainly makes more sense that he has a similar but different alt mode and a similar robot mode (think G1 Thrust vTHundercracker)

 

In any case I was responding the assertation that knowing that Grindor is a different model of helicopter is 'seriously ******ed'

 

I understand your logic, I just don't see them making the effort, but fair enough, plus i missed the post about "seriously ******ed" so i understand your reaction
