Um I think the classics devastator was a must buy. I felt that way about the black camo Ruination too though.

It's nice, but the Universe Target Exclusive set (repainted from RID Build Team) makes for a better Classics Devestator I think.

I want it, but like many awesome things released by Hasbro, it never came over here.
Its a might-buy someday, but not enough to import.
I might get it if I see one at a collectors fair or something.

Looks good but I still protest the 3-to-5 mold system. It's lazy and a rip-off imo.

Ditto, but IMO his G1 color scheme is both an improvement as well as a step back. The great thing about Constructicon Maximus was the odd combination of neon blue and black. While the classic green black and purple work well, the black tends to overpower in some points.

It's up to you, if you can get it for cheap I would sugguest picking it up.

It's a great set, imo. It was the first Gestalt I've ever owned. Even with it only being 3 molds, it still makes for a great combined mode, and a team set-up if not combined. It's also got better colors than the origional release in the Energon line, imo. It's definetly more unified in overall color scheme. I personally wouldn't mind the other two Energon Gestalt's being repainted and sold as a set (though I'd rather have them be a Target exclusive or something, as I no longer shop at Walmart).

I love that team. I like the original colours though.

Actually both versions should be fairly cheap, especially if you get them loose.

i actually want that set, twice, because i think the cranes look better in robot mode then in combiner mode, but devastator looks best, with all 4 being the shovel lol.

I've got both the Energon and Classics version. Cool molds, and a decent stand in for Devestator but I really hope eventually we get some new Constructicon molds in Classics.

RID universe and Classics Devastator sucked if you ever remember what Devastator really looked like.
