At LONG last I am extremely proud and excited to present my form of the Constructicons and Devastator. Obvisously this is a project based on the Ptitvite / Frenzy_Rumble model with a few tweaks to make it my own. This set of figures is my first custom project and was a great way to learn and gain confidence to go off and do something unique next time around.

Thanks go to Mike (Frenzy_Rumble) for not only his gift to the community but his willingness to help newcomers to the craft. Also thanks go to Sculpt-Bot for his casted Devastator heads (which will be seen later).

Every other day I will show a new Constructicon all leading up to Devastator himself. (Bare with me as I am shooting the figures and prepping them for display here.)

Since I am new to all this, please let me know what you guys think!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    The leader himself, Scrapper:

    MOLD USED:
    - Cybertron Landmine

    MODS:
A couple of mods were made to give the mold a stronger Scrapper look:
    - New head cast was used that resembled G1 Scrapper
    - Hood placed over vehicle's cab made out of styrene. This was necessary to achieve the look of Scrapper
    - Reworked tail end of vehicle with an extra large neo-shifter connector peg for combiner mode

    THOUGHTS:
    - By far Scrapper was always my favorite character of not only the Constructicons but also of the Decepticons. I made sure to pay extra special attention to his figure. The mold used was already pretty much perfect for this figure. The additions listed above sealed the deal to make this a perfect representation of Scrapper. Take a look below to see Scrapper showing off his trademark craft of taking the disassembled bodies of his fallen prey and making them into a work of art! You can almost here him saying...

    "CONSTRUCTICONS UNITE AND FORM......"

I like it, but the roof in the back looks out of the place with the windows up front. Maybe if they were done to look like intake ports instead of windows?

Good call on making them intake ports. I would definitely do that next time around.

I have to say I like them all. Their all badass looking and you did a great job on them, but now I'm eager to wait patiently to see Devastator.

Great how you got a really Classics-esque vibe from a Cybertron figure. Can't wait to see the Gestalt mode!

I don't think the windows are an issue, looks like the kinda vehicle that may be manned by more than one person anyway :)
