    Sweet news, I'd buy either deco. My original G1 Soundwave is a little worse for wear, so a new one would be cool to have....actually if I have the money at the times, I'd be totally tempted to get two...

    Hey im a Aussie but put that aside
    Soundwave would be awsome as i have Soundblaster with Buzzsaw and Ravage
    but i want a Rumble and Frenzy pack to go with this re issue

    I have both an original soundwave and recently bought soundblaster and unfortunately the door mounts in a completely different way.

    I grabbed him in '84 and I grabbed both the Soundwave and Soundblaster Takara reissues. I will also grab this one. I love that guy!!:lol

    Well, if it's colored blue, I'll get it. I have the Takara reissue Soundblaster, and I'm perfectly happy with it. I passed on SW, and I regret it. So go Hasbro, let's see Soundwave!

    I'm wondering if it's possible that, given the likely upcoming increased TF interest due to the movie, Hasbro has convinced other stores to carry reissues. I.e., maybe they'll be general-release rather than TRU-exclusive. That could explain lower pricing.

    (And yes, I know Junior said the price might change. It might not, too.)

    You would think that when Al Gore was able to invent the internet, he would have found a way to tell us what Hasbro products were coming out through 2010. Alas, it is not meant to be.

    who did takaras reissue come with. I only have soundblaster's reissue...he came with buzzsaw...im guessing Soundwave came with lazerbeak.

    Yeah, Takara reissue Soundwave came with Laserbeak and reissue Soundblaster came with Ravage and Buzzsaw. It's a shame we never got Rumble or Frenzy though...

    I work at TRU, and I'll see if I can get more information on it tonight. I'll look and see if I can find out what the cost for TRU is on him and that should be a good indicator of what TRU will sell him for. Also, I can drop our purchasing dept and email. I usually work the video game dept so I actually keep in contact with them frequently to let them know what stuff is selling, and what games and have a good "buzz" surrouding them. I also might be able to get some more info in more reissues...not pomise, but I'll give it a shot.
