Can one of the TRU guys confirm this listing in TRU computers?

    Skn 744209 G1 Soundwave

Apparently someone at Seibertron found this listing.
If this is accurate my assumption of a Soundwave toy using the Soundblaster mold may be correct after all.

I just called my store and yes, the listing is real. It does say Soundwave and not Soundblaster. The system does not show a price, but the register says it will be $29.99.

Note: Things can change at anytime before a release like this so guys take the price with a bucket of salt.

Interesting. I wonder if he'll be blue or black if they are using Soundblasters' mold?

    Ebay:
If it is $30 that would be one helluva deal. The ebay market for the Takara version would be demolished.

Sounblaster's mold can hold 2 tapes in his chest as opposed to Soundwave's 1

I'll be all over this if/when it comes out :)

I'm personally hoping for a Soundwave/Soundblaster hybrid. That would be unique and worth getting after already owning the Takara releases. Plus it keeps those more valuable!

If it is just Soundblaster than I plan on buying the ReproLabels set for this one!

My main worry is CHROME. If previous releases are any indication we can at the very least look forward to unchromed missiles. Uh oh, what about the buttons?

Many of the CS reissues did have chromed weapons. The proto that was recently seen had chromed weapons for SW and the cassettes.

I will absolutely be picking this up. I'd pay as much as $40, but $30 would be a sweet deal. I'd really like to see Hasbro reissue all the molds they never brought to the States after Takara reissued them in Japan. Molds like Hound, Soundwave, the Insecticons, etc. - especially those that sold out at outrageous prices. having a reissue Soundwave will be awesome though.

This is great, but I'm reserving my excitment till we know for sure if it's one tape or two, and if it's blue or black. Basically till we see package-stage pics.
