Ok, so what we have seen thats different:

-Ironhide and Sideswipe fight the dreads at the gate instead of Ironhide just standing there and killing them by being motionless.
-Starscream gets the bomb lodged in his Eye instead of his Mouth
-Seems Wheeljacks Death Scene is WAY different/Maybe even switched with Mirages'.
-Shockwave's death looks much much different. Brass Knuckles were never even mentioned in the book.
-Mirage didnt have the grappling hooks/didnt skii behind hatchet

    Anyone think of anything else?

i would say lots. remember the book was probably based on an early version of the script lots can change in a few months before and during filming

I was thinking about this the other day and now with the new TV Spots it seems the book is VERY close to the movie. I'm sure a few things will be different, especially
    Mirages' and Wheeljack's death
but it seems like lots of scenes are exactly like they were in the book.

Yeah, with nearly every scene in the TV spots you can match it pretty much perfectly with the novel (the dialouge, especially, is word-for-word). I could be wrong, but I think the novel either was written from a more finalized version of the script, or the script just didn't change much.

Well I think they kept Mirage's death the same. It'd be an unessential change.

Wheeljack was probably kept off screen and alive long enough for the decepticons and Soundwave to drag him onto the battle field in front of the bots and off his head.

Prime's punch didn't look like it took a whole lot of Shockwave's stomach. Not even a fairly fatal amount.

You guys need to remember that the novel is based on a script that probably just say who kills who and when, of course the final movie action will be different. There's not even real action in the script for one on ones.

    After seeing
    Wheeljack
without a head, it wouldn't surprise me if they altered
    Mirage's
fate entirely. From a cinematic point of view, it does not make much sense to have two characters die in almost the exact same way in the course of one movie. For the sake of variety, Bay would have changed the manner if he was to die.

    I hope they did
    allow Mirage/Dino/IDGAF to live
, it's cool to see a badass character survive a tough action movie now and again.
