lol wow... the reactions here are amazing.. it's like some of you guys believe we've never had any robots that split into 3 alt modes before. are you forgetting Tidalwave and Magmatron who were both kick ass characters.

although it is a little strange that she turns into 3 identical alt modes, it'll be neat to see 3 identical alt modes transform 3 completely different ways.

Anyways, I do think that whatever solution gives Arcee at least some friggin' size is acceptable, and this kinda gimmick was bound to come anyways.

 

While this is interesting news, I'd still rather Arcee be more like the original design that was almost used in the first film. The gimmick for her is that she's a female robot. Adding a combining gimmick, as well, is a little too much IMO.

 

I didn't say your a dolt. And besides the Arcee-dying-early bit is only speculation because we haven't seen her alt modes in months.

Clever. Nice way to introduce Combiners before Devastator shows up and kills the world. And she's not a Gesalt, because she only has three parts and none have robot modes. At leats now she's not nine feet tall. (she needs to be a big robot)

We don't know for sure she gets killed off. She could just leave on another mission.

What's stupid/not smart about it? Why bother with detailing each holodriver when you're barely going to use them anyway? (and even then, it's not like they're ever going to be under close inspection)

And here, too, there was no reason to make them all different. Hell, out of them Barricade was the only one who really needed it, since the others basically had it just so that the vehicles didn't look like they were driving themselves. (they could've just had silhouettes, since they're hard to see into when moving) In fact, it makes more sense to have them all be the same. That way they can all use it when needed.

I don't mind Arcee being a combiner at all. Just as long as she isn't killed off!   Seeing live action combiners will be great!

Is that how you feel about Transformers Animated? Every character there has a unique weapon. Optimus' axe, Jazz's nunchucks, Prowl's shurikens, Oil Slick's flail.... Gimmickimickimickimickimick?

 

As opposed to her being COMPLETELY dead when her SINGLE bike mode is destroyed?

If she's a single bike it's WORSE. All the Decepticons have to do is destroy ONE bike and she's DEAD.

Cool so know she will get her ass killed in the first 5 minutes instead of the first 5 second, hey a person can only hope. I think they should combine all the wheels to a huge ninja star weapon of doom or somthing. Then when shes about to throw it someone shoots her in the face! Nothing wromg with it becuase I could care less about arcee ive always hated her, more than wheelie even, still hope she dies. Another shitything is the nasty horny fans are going to be getting off on arcee, and then being pissed off when they dont explain girl transformers, and transformer sex. Just leave her out.......

 

Not surprised by this news in the least. Its a sequel so they 're have to come with some ridiculous shit...not that I'm complaining, but anyone pissed should realize this is sequels are all about.

 

i just hope she gets a toy!
